- Umbrellas in eight colors hang in the shopping district
- Many special offers in the stores
- Umbrella action is planned until October
Dülmen / Hamburg, August 30, 2021. Blue, red, purple, pink, orange, yellow, green and white – in eight bright colors the stretched umbrellas hang between the stores of the Stadtquartier Overbergplatz in Dülmen and decorate the popular shopping mall. After mixed summer weather and the long period of Corona lockdowns, the colorful promotion is intended to bring a little color to visitors’ shopping trips.
“Our customers are thrilled with the campaign. Many pull out their smartphones and take photos for Facebook or Instagram,” says Olaf Deistler, center manager at Girlan Immobilien and responsible for the property. “Colors not only create a pleasant atmosphere and convey positive emotions, they also have an impact on customer loyalty. We plan to continue the campaign into the fall.”
The colorful umbrella ballet is just one of many activities that regularly take place in Dülmen’s Overbergplatz neighborhood. On August 27, a large vaccination campaign was held in the town square together with the Coesfeld district. Just one day later, the Biathlon City Championship was held at the same location, with the Overberg City Quarter as the main sponsor.
The Overbergplatz urban quarter comprises a leasable area of around 8,000 square meters with retail, office, medical practice, restaurant and parking uses. The urban quarter also includes a roof terrace that can be used in a variety of ways, outdoor restaurants and the largest underground parking garage in Dülmen. Tenants include H&M, dm, clever-fit, the Concept Fashion Store and the Diocese of Münster.
On behalf of the owner, Girlan Immobilien takes over the center management, the technical property management, the commercial property management as well as the leasing of the property.
